Sara Saj Mack is the creative mind behind MakeupbySAJ.
Born in Antigua & Barbuda into a creative family of photography, visual and the performing arts, grew up with a childhood dream of becoming, as she put it at the age of 5, an “Artist Paintist”

Making the decision to turn this dream into a career, Sara easily choose the Face to be her canvas, as her love for makeup was always there, ever since receiving her first frosty pink lipstick at age12.

Beginning first with professional training from top industry professionals in Fashion and Beauty Photographic Makeup, Theatrical makeup, Film/Television/Special FX and Prosthetics. Armed with a wealth of knowledge Sara has since then contributed to the Caribbean’s rapidly emerging fashion and entertainment industry. Her hard work and dedication has led to her being awarded “Makeup Artist of the Year” at the inaugural Antigua/Barbuda Fashion Design Awards in 2008.

During her career growth back home in Antigua, Sara noticed that there were many young girls with fresh and hopeful desires to become professional models. With the lack of professional agencies based in Antigua she decided to host the “Face of Saj” Model Search held seasonally each year, giving these girls the opportunity experience their dreams.

With over 5 years of professional experience in both runway, film, print media and broadcast media, Sara has refined and developed her skill and honed her belief that
“ Makeup is meant to enhance an individual’s beauty and not be worn as a mask.”
Her natural beauty techniques and ability to create flawless skin can be easily recognized.

Now relocated in Atlanta GA, Sara has brought a fresh perspective to a new market with a lot to offer; she has already began working with agencies such Elite NY, Whilemina NY, Ford Models along side some of the top names in Fashion and Beauty photography.

Sara’s passion and love for her work continues to grow. When asked how long she sees herself being a makeup artist, she responds “I will continue to do this until the day that one of my clients isn’t completely stunned at their transformation! This is my art and faces are my canvas.”
