HMAN understands that it's not just about what you know, but who knows you. Our mission is to provide networking opportunities, business education, and business resources for self employed artists. Our unique concept provides artists "One Resource For All Your Freelance Business Needs."
HMAN was born from experience celebrity Makeup Artist, Michelle Lee had upon starting her own Hollywood career in the mid-ninties. Now backed by a team with backgrounds in makeup, film, and event production, as well as industry vetrans and experts, Lee now helps her fellow artists become stronger minded business professionals while stressing the importance of networking. "It's the only way to get work! We are just trying to make it easier."
It's true, networking is not a new concept, but neither are networking organizations. Just about every industry out there has their own networking organization, so why is the concept so foriegn to Hair & Makeup Artists??? Everyone know the best jobs out there are from either networking or job referrals from other artists. So why don't we have a networking organization? Well now we do!
